Front Counter Clerk (Full Time)

Leading dry cleaners, Dry Cleaning Depot is looking for the following:

Shift Hours:

• (Monday - Friday 7AM to 1PM and Saturday 8AM to 1PM)
• (Monday - Friday 1PM to 7PM and Saturday 1PM to 6PM)

The Front Counter Clerk will provide exceptional customer service to our customers and efficiently expedite and process diligently all orders.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Accept and tag all garments from customers to be cleaned using a computer system.
• Answer questions from customers regarding price, cleaning process or other inquiries or complaints
• Accept payment (cash, credit card) and make change when required.
• Remove and record the amount of cash in register at beginning and end of shift.
• Check in and rack finished orders using computer system as per store procedures.
• Keep store clean and orderly.
• Responsible for assisting in preparation of daily deposits and change.
• Ensure compliance of Company policies and procedures and supports company loss prevention efforts.
• Lock and secure store when scheduled.
• Responsible for ensuring personal appearance and that of store are up to company standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Store Supervisor and other management.

Minimum Qualifications

• Must have High School Diploma or GED
• Up to three months of previous retail or customer service
• Ability to read and interpret documents.
• Ability to speak and communicate effectively with customers and other employees.
• Ability to apply basic math; addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions and percentages to practical situations.
• Must be able to work with minimum supervision.

Physical Demands

The employee is constantly using hands and fingers to feel, handle or operate objects, tools, or controls and reach overhead with hands and arms. This position requires for you to lift up to 25 pounds.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36 – 38 per week
