Additionally, the Company performs a wide range of work from building structures to rehab and maintenance for 20 years, and continues to experience steady growth due to its core value of providing quality work for its clients and Team Members.
We are currently seeking a Structural Concrete Superintendent with verifiable experience building highway bridges.
Job Duties (Summary)
- Coordination and scheduling of crews and subcontractors.
- Building of many types of concrete structures such as bridges, culverts, walls, water tanks, etc. (Emphasis on highway structures).
- Work integrally with the project team in advancing the team's objective. This includes project management, onsite crews, the client team, engineers, etc.
- Oversee and direct the technical aspects of the project.
- Responsible for the quality, production, and budgets of the work.
- Implement, encourage and enforce safe practices.
- Represent the Company in a positive manner.
Qualifications
- Experience and demonstrated proficiency running all onsite aspects of projects, as typically required of a superintendent (5 years minimum)
- Extensive experience, background, and knowledge with concrete structures.
- Bridge experience is a must.
- Application knowledge and proficiency with multiple disciplines required to build a concrete structure such as excavation, carpentry, concreting, paving, hoisting / crane work, piling, etc.
- Demonstrated background successfully leading and managing crews.
- OSHA 30.
- Equipment operating experience a plus.
- Valid driver's license with favorable Motor Vehicle Record (CDL a Plus!).
