Same Day Restoration is hiring a Water Damage Technician as a full-time position.
We are looking for experienced leaders in the water/mold/fire damage restoration industry with minimum of 2 years’ experience and a current WRT certification. As a Water Damage Technician - Level II & Water Damage Technician - Level III you will be an important part of a team directed by a Lead Technician with a demolition technician to assist you. You will be responsible for your own jobs from start to finishing mitigation activities and coordinating with the repair project manager.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the management team to ensure our customers are well taken care of
- Handle any issues caused by smoke, water, mold, or sewage damage and remove and replace damaged materials
- Communicate in a friendly and professional manner with all members of your team and our customers
- Follow company policies to maintain safety, quality, and a professional image
- Drive a company vehicle to and from job sites while following all state traffic laws and company policies to ensure safety
- Promote and sell Same Day Restoration services as a Water Damage Technician
- Document drying progress using a phone or tablet after proper training
Qualifications:
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. or more
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid driver’s license with a clean DMV record
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
- Previous experience in the restoration industry to include water damage, fire damage, and mold remediation
- Contents pack out, clean and storage experience is a plus
- Xactimate knowledge is a plus
- Must be able to work overtime as needed and some holidays
- IICRC certifications in water damage or mold remediation preferred
- We work Monday – Friday 7-5 and respond to emergency calls 24/7
