What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior SAP Developer (ABAP) position at DSA?
DSA is seeking a highly qualified Senior SAP Developer (ABAP) with an active secret clearance to join our team at Picatinny Arsenal, NJ.
Required Qualifications
- Secret clearance required
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in Basis support areas including:
- Designing and developing SAP applications, interfaces, and enhancements using various SAP technologies, such as ABAP, SAPUI5, Fiori, Web Dynpro, and Workflow.
- Experience in SAP development technologies, including ABAP, SAPUI5, Fiori, Web Dynpro, Workflow, Mobility and OData services.
- Experience in SAP modules, such as SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA, SAP CRM, EWM and SAP BW.
- Experience in SAP integration technologies, such as SAP PI/PO or SAP CPI.
- Experience in SAP development tools, such as Eclipse, SAP Web IDE, or SAP HANA Studio.
- Experience with SAP application architecture, data models, and security concepts.
- Experience in software development methodologies, such as Agile or Scrum.
- Has developed applications and customization of SAP modules
- SAP certifications in one or more discipline (e.g., SAP Certified Technology Associate)
- CompTIA Security certification.
- Experience supporting DoD SAP initiatives; JPEO A&A
- Experience assisting with functional requirements generation and technical specifications.
- Experience implementing technical aspects of DOD information systems compliance and accreditations requirements including Risk Management Framework (RMF).
- Design, build, and sustain new enterprise business applications, developed in the SAP ABAP/WebDynPro programming environment.
- Develop new applications and customization of the following SAP modules: Materials Management (MM), Human Capital Management (HCM), Production Planning (PP), Business Warehouse (BW), High-Performance Analytics Appliance (HANA), Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and Flexible Planning as well as the existing suite of custom AEP applications.
- Assist with the functional requirements generation process
- Provide systems engineering support by creating technical specifications for any new features or projects to be developed that ensure the software support environment is compatible with all physical, functional, and technical components
