Job Skills / Requirements

DSI is adding to its ranks in the Sealy, TX areas. Come join our fast-growing team as a Security Patrol Officer. Must have a Level 2 Security Officer License.

Duties:

• Maintain a safe and secure environment for customers and employees while providing general security duties to our client.

• Interact with a variety of persons including clients, visitors, employees, security management and correspondents

• Liaison with the client daily

• Answer a multiple line phone and fulfil client and security requests

• Monitor CCTV and Access Control systems, write accurate reports, and disable badges

• Following post instructions specific to the client.

• Ability to work in all-weather elements.

• Promoting safety by being alert to observe, correct and report any hazards.

• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results and support SOC as needed

Responsibilities:

• Maintain visibility to ensure safety and deter unacceptable activities.

• Respond to different areas of the property in a timely manner when requested

• Liaise with local law enforcement and other first responders when required

• Monitor and control site and dock access

• Understanding and complying with DSI and Client requirements.

• Having a good understanding and following DSIs Code of Ethics and Employee Standard.

• Participate in training and become familiar with general safety procedures, as well as DSIs safety manual.

• Attend and continue to receive security officer training as required by Client or DSIs training program.

• Present oneself in a professional manner through appearance and conduct.

Position Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent

• A valid driver's license preferred

• Level 2 Security Officer License

• Minimum of 1 year experience as an Operator within the military, law enforcement, or Security Industries (preferred)

• Working knowledge of CCTV, Alarm systems and electronic access control systems

• Have reliable means of transportation and communication

• Pass all required background and drug screenings

• Be customer service oriented

• Basic to intermediate computer skills

• Effective written and oral communication skills

• Be able to perform routine foot patrol and do moderate lifting

  Certification Requirements (All)

  Valid State Driver's License Valid State of Texas Security License
