We are looking for an experienced Manager of Demand Planning to spearhead our demand planning efforts, focusing on enhancing channel and customer engagement. In this pivotal role, you will ensure our organization meets its sales objectives by effectively overseeing the demand planning and forecasting process.
The Manager, Supply Chain Demand Planning will have these responsibilities:
- Develop and manage comprehensive Collaborative Planning, Forecasting, and Replenishment (CPFR) programs for key accounts, facilitating sessions to create a collaborative forecasting environment.
- Lead the SIOP process meetings with key stakeholders to balance supply and demand effectively, while improving forecast accuracy and inventory optimization
- Master forecasting software and tools, taking ownership of all forecasting activities and analyses to drive consistent and improved operational forecasts.
- Track and report on essential performance metrics, including forecast accuracy and inventory levels.
- Implement best practices for demand forecasting and continuously assess forecasting methodologies to enhance precision.
- Conduct root cause analysis on forecast discrepancies and implement corrective actions to improve future performance.
- Lead strategic discussions with retail partners to influence forecast and replenishment strategies.
- Utilize Forecast Pro and other forecasting software to create, adjust, and validate demand forecasts, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Work collaboratively with the Procurement, Operations, Quality, Product Supply, and Finance teams to gather insights and inputs for more accurate demand projections.
The Manager, Supply Chain Demand Planning has the following qualifications:
- Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree w/ 3-6 years of supply chain experience
- Proven experience in end to end planning functions: SIOP, supply & demand planning, capacity planning, production planning and forecasting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and large-scale merchant retailers
