Detailed Production Scheduler
Location: Exton, PA
What You’ll Do:
Translate the Master Production Schedule into the Detailed Production Schedule, identify needs for raw materials, packaging, capacity of assets and labor, intermediate products, and manufacturing supplies / consumables in very close cooperation with the Manufacturing organization.
This role is critical in the monitoring, coordinating, and expediting of all activities required to keep the business running and supply customers on time – in an environment where very many disciplines are required to ensure running business that all have a focus on other things than operational activities.

Key responsibilities:
Ensures timely availability of all required materials required to execute on the Detailed Schedule by determining (dependent) requirements, comparing needs with available inventories and open Purchase Orders, and by initiating Purchase Requisitions for the Purchasing team
Closely aligns with the Supply Chain Planners, Manufacturing, Warehouse, and Purchasing team to identify changes and seek resolution
Supports the continuous improvement of the responsible processes and activities and driving Functional Excellence
Robust planning and scheduling of the operation to ensure traceability, adequately plan for product availability, and optimization of the Costs/Service/OWC balance
Mature Sourcing of direct materials, components, and services in line with customer and business needs and at transparent and acceptable risk levels regarding quality and SHE, security of supply, business impact, and sustainability
Efficient purchasing of materials to the requirements as defined by the planning function and aligned with specifications and (contractual) agreements
You bring:
AA / BA Degree in Business and / or equivalent work experience in required field, education in sciences highly desired
5 years of experience in Supply Chain and/or Manufacturing Planning/Scheduling for manufacturing companies (Medical Device or Pharmaceutical preferred)
Ability to identify, resolve, or escalate problems in a timely manner and are detail oriented
Affinity with a highly regulated environment and energized by operational dynamics
Knowledge of spreadsheet programs (MS Excel) and ERP (SAP and SAP BW) systems
Affinity with Quality Management System, experience with quality standards applicable in the Biomedical market (ISO13485, cGMP, etc.) is a plus
