Inventory Analyst
Location: Ontario, CA

Is the idea of assuring that Inventory integrity of raw material and finished goods in a fast paced and ever-changing production environment resonate? We are seeking an Inventory Analyst to support this segment of our Nutritional Products. It’s a dynamic job – are you up for the challenge?
Come help us create value for the end customers through assisting the Finance Department in relation to all inventory matters at DSM. You’ll report directly to the Warehouse Supervisor Onsite.
Key Areas of Accountability / Responsibility
- Verifying accuracy of incoming raw materials for manufacturing
- Validates incoming raw material via SAP. Oversees and monitors raw materials, and finished goods inventories
- Manage cycle counting to verify inventory levels
- Accountable for the timely processing of necessary Goods Issue and Goods Receipts paperwork via SAP (i.e., bills of lading, pick tickets, process orders, production orders receiving, etc.)
- Tracks, monitors and oversees raw materials and finished goods inventory throughout the manufacturing process
- Conducts a daily audit of inventories and uploads results into SAP and other support inventory management systems as needed
- Provides feedback to Site Controller regarding discrepancies resulting in material P&K impact
- Collaborates with Production team to ensure timely delivery of incoming goods from 3rd party warehouse
- Must be able to work any shift or overtime as needed
What we look for in you
Knowledge and Education level:
- BS Degree in Finance, Material Management, Logistics, Supply Chain etc.
- Minimum of 3 years of SAP preferably in a Manufacturing experience preferably in a manufacturing inventory control environment.
- Advanced Excel for reporting purposes, (MS Word, MS Excel, Power Point and MS Outlook)
- Exceptional math skills to perform inventory control procedures
- Knowledge of inventory control management methods and procedures, shipment methods and the ability to keep simple receiving and shipping records
- Knowledge of barcode equipment
- Experience with identifying and resolving complex problems within the inventory, scheduling and shipping areas to meet critical on time shipment deadlines to customers
- APICS certification and LSS Green belt or higher a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including writing, editing, and proofreading skills
