QA Technician
Location: Enfield, CT
What You’ll Do
Sample, inspect and process incoming finished goods according to Quality standard operating procedures. Be responsible for ensuring all products meet specifications and quality standards prior to being released into distribution

Key responsibilities
- Coordinate and conduct quality review for incoming goods, including sampling, inspection, and product disposition decisions for materials use/sale
- Maintain appropriate QA status label from receipt through disposition and prepare/send samples to labs for testing
- Reconcile materials from finished jobs and ensure compliance with quality standards
- Assist with documentation control by compiling/obtaining release, lab and packaging records, and reviewing/maintaining specifications for accuracy
- Provide support to departments as needed, including assisting with returns, processing and filing retain samples, and communicating with labs and vendors for follow-up on report status or outstanding issues
You bring
- A 2- or 4-year college degree in scientific concentration preferred
- Intermediate skills with MS Word, Excel, Outlook and fluency in written and spoken English
- High attention to detail and analytical capability to conduct quality reviews for incoming goods
- Physically capable of lifting up to 35 pounds and being continuously on your feet for 2-3 hours per day within fulfillment center environment
- Occasional travel to vendors and Cromwell office may be required
