Quality Control Lab Technician
Location: South Bend, IN
What you’ll do
The primary responsibility of a Quality Control Lab Technician is to ensure products meet or exceed customer requirements for quality and food safety. This role will be responsible for the analysis of raw materials, intermediates, and finished products manufactured or received in South Bend with an emphasis on standard operating procedures and good laboratory practices.

Your key responsibilities
- Analytical laboratories are part of the site QC infrastructure.
- The major task is to run the full set of analysis according to validated methods or to support scientists in development and validation of methods.
- Main partners are colleagues in the production & shipping dept units and QA staff within the site.
- Supports local production, shipping/receiving and quality control to ensure Quality System requirements (ISO, GMP, HACCP, etc.) are maintained.
- Support for analytical questions and troubleshoot instrumentation issues.
- With increasing experience, member in quality projects supporting production / quality with method development protocols and validation reports.
You bring
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, not required.
- Minimum of 1 year of prior relevant experience preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of quality systems & GMP programs.
- Good analytical skills and attention to details are important.
