DSSI is hiring Case Managers to work with a workforce services company in the Oceanside area.
This role focuses on helping individuals address any barriers they are facing by navigating them through their benefits and resources.
Details:
- Workdays: Monday-Friday
- Work Hours: 8am-5pm
- Pay Rate: $22/HR
Duties:
- Meets with participants to identify barriers and challenges to employment/self-sufficiency and develop strategies to manage these challenges through motivational interviewing techniques.
- Maintains complete, accurate and timely case notes and related records in manual and electronic systems.
- Track and reports out on participant progress and participation in assigned employment services activities
- Determine eligibility and/or issue supportive services such as transportation, child care and ancillaries to support participants in employment service activities
- Outreach to re-engage participants who fail to show for appointments and assigned activities
- Create, update and ensure completion of plans according to contract deadlines.
- Assess and refer participants to appropriate departments and/or agencies for job readiness, training, support services, specialized services, and/or behavioral health services
- Attends scheduled supervision meetings to discuss participants’ progress.
- Utilize county and company computer data processing systems to efficiently track and record participant activity
- Complete all necessary case management documentation and forms; maintain records and files; and schedules appointments
- Other duties as assigned
- Bilingual/Spanish a plus
