Role Overview
- Responsible for the development, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of the benefit, pricing, and application configuration.
- Performs routine duties independently; discusses or seeks approval on complex matters with management of departments affected by changes to the configuration system. Keeps Manager informed of status of activities and issues on a regular basis.
- Responsible for identifying business requirements as it pertains to configuration of system and providing expertise in the design of core configuration components, development/configuration and administration of new products to be marketed by SS&C Health. Works strategic projects and high priority projects as assigned by management, at times working on more than one strategic project at a time.
- A dheres to SS&C Health’s Change Management Policies and Procedures.
Responsibilities
- Accountable for the development, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of the benefit, pricing, and application configuration such as Provider Pricing, claims editing tools Claims Extend, Optum, and 3M.
- Delivery of assignments on a timely bases.
- Claims Core System knowledge of more than one Subsystem and understanding of how the subsystems interact.
- Claims System configuration knowledge as well as an understanding of how these applications interface with Claim Core System or other systems.
- Maintain Configuration compliance for benefit and pricing controls.
- Work with both internal and external customers.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of work-related experience, or 4 years equivalent work-related experience
