What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Operator-Summer Hire Lawn Maintenance position at DSV?
To perform lawn maintenance duties at the INVISTA facility including but not limited to weed eating, edging, blowing off sidewalks. Limited time position. Two (2) positions open. 7:00am – 3:30pm Monday – Friday.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform various lawn maintenance duties as required/needed by site. Some examples are but are not limited to the following: Operate lawn maintenance equipment, weed-eater, blower, edger, hedge trimmer, pruners/pole & chainsaw.
OTHER DUTIES
Putting out pine straw
Hedge trimming
Cutting/limbing up trees with pruners/ pole or chain saw
Picking up trash

MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education and/or Experience
High School Diploma or GED
Valid Driver’s license
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES (PREFERRED)
Computer Skills
Must have general computer skills
Language Skills
English (reading, writing, verbal)
Mathematical Skills
Intermediate

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Previous experience working in or around a manufacturing environment
Previous experience operating a lawn maintenance equipment
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Willing and able to perform tasks such as lifting (50lbs), walking, climbing, stooping, standing, pushing and/or pulling for up to eight (8) hours a day
Willing and able to maintain strict adherence to safety rules and regulations including wearing personal protective equipment
Must be able to wear all the proper PPE required for tasks performed
While performing the duties of this job, the employee uses his/her hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, walk or crouch.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Willing and able to work outside in hot/humid weather.
