The Impact you will have in this role:

The Internal Communications Director is responsible for partnering with multiple functions to develop and drive the communications strategy and strategic priorities. The individual in this position provides timely strategic communications counsel to advance DTCC's culture and implements engaging and informative content, through a variety of communications channels and mediums, targeted to employees and potential employees. This includes aligning messaging with the company's mission, vision, values, priorities and culture, understanding diverse group of employee’s needs, and developing strategies and tactics that address those needs.

Your Primary Responsibilities:

• Partner with key stakeholders to translate their ideas and vision into communications strategies that raise awareness, inform and engage employees, enable cross-functional collaboration, and achieve business goals.
• Create and establish overarching communications strategy to inform and engage employees.
• Establish strong rapport with key stakeholders to effectively draft and refine messaging and executive communications.
• Create and oversee a variety of employee-focused communications campaigns, tactics and messages that support communications strategies in engaging staff through enable cross-functional collaboration, and achieve business goals.
• Develop employee communications content that supports stakeholder priorities and initiatives, critical messages, and employee engagement for a variety of internal and external channels while establishing a regular publishing cadence.
• Provide counsel and guidance to stakeholders on communication approaches to support successful project outcomes.
• Coordinate closely across the stakeholder groups to ensure message alignment and integration across multiple topics and channels and to ensure senior leadership content is messaged properly, reflects strategic objectives and is delivered as expected for Board and internal committees.
• Create talking points/messaging/presentations for senior executives.
• Measure, report and adjust communications activities as part of the larger Internal Communications team strategy.
• Provide counsel and guidance to stakeholders and team of communications professionals on communication approaches to support successful project outcomes.
• Support the management of external vendors, including advertising agencies, graphic designers, and printers, at all stages of development and distribution process.
• Mitigate risk by following established procedures, spotting key errors and demonstrating strong ethical behavior.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 10 years of related experience
• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience

The salary range is indicative for roles at the same level within DTCC across all US locations.
