CrossFit Coach

DuBois CrossFit is looking for a CrossFit Coach to join our team of other fitness and health professionals. DuBois CrossFit was established in January of 2020 and has a loyal member base located in DuBois, PA and surrounding areas. We are looking for a coach that would become part of our amazing team of coaches. This is a part-time coaching position with competitive rate and great opportunity for growth. We specifically are looking for someone available and willing to coach early morning 5/5:30am and 12noon classes throughout the week.

Responsibilities

• Have a positive impact on our members.
• Effectively and properly motivate athletes to achieve maximum potential in all areas of performance.
• Anticipate the potential risk for injury, take measures to remove them, and, in the event of an injury, have the ability to implement emergency medical procedures.
• Participate in coaching special events, challenges, and monthly community workouts.
• Keep updated on current Fitness related research.

Qualifications

• Motivator.
• 2 years of experience leading groups through workouts
• Experience leading group fitness classes a plus
• Gymnastics, Kettlebell, Olympic Lifting, Endurance, and other related training certifications are a benefit for this position.
• Knowledge of human behavior and performance; individual differences in ability, personality, and interests.
• Excellent teaching, management, communication and supervisory skills.
• CPR/AED certification a plus
• Possess honesty and personal integrity.
• Must be passionate, enthusiastic, energetic, personable and friendly.
• Team players only.
• Outstanding communication skills including, email, public speaking, and small group interactions.
• Actively producing social media fitness content to educate members.

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $13.00 - $25.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

• DuBois, PA 15801: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

• Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)
• Group fitness: 1 year (Preferred)
• Teaching/Coaching: 2 years (Preferred)
