A bit about the position -

Do you enjoy a fast-paced environment? If so, this might be the right fit for you! We are looking for motivated, determined and innovative employees to join our team. This position involves performing all the functions necessary to support our production department. No experience necessary - we have you covered with paid training!

As a screen printing machine operator, your duties and responsibilities are to setup the press, monitor production, adjust the machine to meet specific client specifications, and inspect the finished products to ensure they meet specifications and pass quality inspections. The operator will clean, lubricate and maintain the press machine making minor adjustments as needed to correct any issues. The press operator insures that their work area is cleaned during their shift and before shift end.

What you will do (responsibilities) -

• Arrange garments according to how they will be printed
• Apply screens onto the printing press, apply ink to the screens
• Load garments onto platens
• Monitor press operation, including platen temperature, ink volume and tackiness
• Ability to unload garments from a press and place them on a dryer belt
• Troubleshoot production problems as they occur to minimize the occurrence of defects
• Maintain accurate garment count, and monitor product quality
• Tear down the print (remove screens, flood bars, and squeegees)
• Must make sure workstation is clean and organized every day

• Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
• Good manual dexterity
• Ability to detect slight differences in colors
• Eager to learn new tasks
• Self-motivated
• Attention to detail
• Hand/eye coordination
• Ability to stand on your feet for the entire shift
• Demonstrated ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Perform assigned tasks in an environment with high volume production noises
• Proficiently and efficiently perform all tasks/functions as trained
