Job Overview:

As a Drafting Specialist at Duchateau, you will play a pivotal role in transforming design concepts into detailed, production-ready drawings and specifications for our European modular cabinetry projects. You will collaborate closely with our design and production teams to ensure that our clients' visions are translated into reality, while adhering to the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Drafting and Design Development: Create accurate and detailed technical drawings, blueprints, and 3D models using CAD software, ensuring compliance with European modular cabinetry standards and specifications.

2. Collaborative Communication: Work closely with designers, architects, and project managers to understand project requirements, design intent, and functional needs, providing input and recommendations where necessary.

3. Material and Component Selection: Assist in selecting appropriate materials, hardware, and accessories to meet design and budgetary requirements, while maintaining the integrity of European modular cabinetry aesthetics.

4. Quality Control: Review and revise drawings to ensure accuracy, consistency, and alignment with project specifications, industry standards, and manufacturing capabilities.

5. Technical Support: Provide technical support to production teams, addressing any questions or clarifications related to the drafting documents and facilitating smooth project execution.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.00 - $28.00 per hour
