What You Will Do:

Our crews are the true backbone of our company. As a Field Services Technician, you will work with municipal customers and engineers. You provide quality workmanship and take pride in the work you perform by helping our customers provide safe, sanitary environments and clean drinking water to their residents. You enjoy being physically active and working outside in all seasons. You will spend the day performing manhole and sewer inspections and rehabilitation, inflow and infiltration (I/I) assessments, and working on freshwater systems (line stop/tapping) all while committing to strict safety protocol.

• Are at least 18 years old with a clean MVR record
• Are able and willing to travel out of town nationally up to 75% of the time (all work-related expenses paid)
• Enjoy working outside in all weather conditions
• Have solid computer skills (i.e., use of computer tablets, uploading and downloading files)
• Are comfortable working around manholes, sewer/wastewater pipelines and chemicals
• Are able to lift 65lbs continuously (or more with assistance from tools)
• Are able to work in confined spaces, wear and use confined space entry restraints, and enter structures with 24” internal diameter openings or larger continuously throughout the day
• Have strong interpersonal skills and like working as part of a team
• Will abide by all safety procedures and policies, including wearing required PPE for your safety
• Have previous experience working with chemical grouts, pressure grouting equipment, cement lining (preferred not required)

Pipetek, now part of Duke's, was recently acquired by Duke’s Root Control who has over 80 years of experience serving the underground sewer industry. Pipetek Infrastructure Services has been providing high quality pipeline cleaning and inspection services for over 6 years in the United States and has worked on a variety of projects with various municipalities and customers performing multiple types of services.

As a full-service utility contractor, Pipetek has the equipment, personnel, and experience to conduct the following services: wastewater pipeline condition assessment (NASSCO compliant CCTV inspection), sewer cleaning services, manhole inspections (NASSCO level 1 & 2), traffic control, bypass pumping, GIS integration and asset management. Additional services Pipetek also provides include lateral inspections, utility locating, CIPP spot liners, GPS locating/mapping, smoke testing, root and grease control.
