JOB SUMMARY
The Senior Revenue Manager for The Department of Surgery is a hybrid position, working remotely, but may require travel to clinics and hospitals within the greater Triangle area. This position manage and coordinate the revenue cycle activities associated with the assigned Revenue Manager(s), along with their assigned clinical areas; with the goal of providing strategic direction to maximize reimbursement, establishing and monitoring revenue cycle activities in a cost-effective manner, in compliance with federal and state laws, and payer-specific billing requirements.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES research, monitor, provide education and implement payer regulations and guidelines related to revenue management activities of the assigned clinical area. Coordinate revenue management orientation and educational activities of clinical personnel including providers and staff about coding and other revenue cycle issues. Develop and utilize management models to monitor productivity and quality of staff performance in conjunction with HCA and PRMO departments.
