- The Assistant Supervisor conducts inspections, monitors performance,and maintains records, equipment, and supplies.
- Establish and maintain housekeeping schedules and make work assignments describe the general nature and level of work. This is not intended to bean exhaustive list of all responsibilities and duties required of for various housekeeping duties in the absence of the Senior Housekeeping Supervisor; in any ofthe service areas.
- Conduct comprehensive inspections to check the completion of work assignments.
- Ensure that assignments are properly staffed and employees have adequate suppliesand equipment for completion of assignments.
- Monitor employee performance; determine when disciplinary action is appropriate; ensure proper training of newand existing personnel.
- Discuss general housekeeping procedures with personnel ofthe assigned area.

Minimum Qualifications
Education
Work requires the ability to provide instructions and maintain records generally acquired through a partial high school education
Experience
Work requires two years of cleaning or related experience necessary to OR AN EQUIVALENT COMBINATION OF RELEVANT EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE obtain knowledge of scope of housekeeping unit operations, or 2 years as a lead worker or acting as supervisor. Familiar with accepted supervisory and personnel practices and standards.
