Summary
The Multimedia Producer in Alumni Engagement and Development (AED) supports the university’s ability to connect with its diverse community of 200,000 donors and alumni. This position produces, manages, and executes various digital media projects on behalf of Marketing, Communications, and Stewardship (MCS). In this role, the Multimedia Producer must be both strategic and creative; he/she must be capable of producing engaging content across multiple platforms and identify new opportunities to engage with alumni, donors, and friends. Working in collaboration with strategists, writers, designers, web developers, fundraisers, and stewardship staff, this role serves to strengthen brand perception, alumni engagement, and fundraising efforts by creating video and multimedia content that engages, cultivates, and educates all Duke audiences. This position reports to the Executive Director of Content Strategy.
The ideal candidate will have expertise in video production, editing, social media and experience producing multimedia content across various digital media platforms.

Work requires the ability to perform creative writing and related activities such as conducting interviews and research, and copy editing normally acquired through attainment of a bachelor's degree in Journalism, English or a related discipline.
Work requires two years of directly related writing experience or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
