The primary purpose of this position is to implement the preventative maintenance program of all mechanical equipment and to complete necessary and scheduled work order repairs. Contributes to the achievement of excellence through the quality and care values in line with the mission of Duncaster.

Full-time, 40 hours per week. Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm (Flexibility required to come in to assist in the event of emergencies, storms)

- Recognizes the value and contribution of fellow employees as demonstrated by cooperation and teamwork.
- Demonstrates dependability by completing commitments within established guidelines and completing necessary repairs.
- Performs scheduled preventative maintenance.
- Maintains generator in good repair.Completes daily inspection of generator room. Completes weekly generator testing.
- Completes all necessary documentation for inspections, testing etc. as required.
- Notifies manager and/or appropriate administrative personnel of serious mechanical problems in facility which may affect patient care or operations.
- Demonstrates ability to prioritize work and functions in an organized manner.
- Must have three years facilities/maintenance experience.
- Must have general knowledge of OSHA safety standards.
- Must have a high school education degree or equivalent.
- Must be able to perform the essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodations.
- Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when warranted.
- Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel and the general public.
- Must be computer literate.
