Production Associate

Job Title: Production Associate

Duties:

• Maintain accurate materials and equipment inventory: Monitoring status, quantity, and location. Ensure all inventory reconciliations are done in a timely and accurate manner.
• Maintain our “safety first” culture by having zero defect and zero waste attitude in order to provide a safe workplace for all associates.
• Follow facility safety, quality objectives and targets.
• Maintain, store, and distribute spare parts, tools, supplies.
• Advise Team Leaders and management of pertinent changes in working conditions or significant information that may present short- or long-term impacts on inventory and overall output.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisory or management personnel.
• Assume responsibility for effective & efficient upkeep and inventory of tool crib.
• Follow facility safety, quality objectives and targets,
• Attend all necessary meetings and assist in other projects as needed.
• Support Shipping and Receiving as needed.
• Safely operate forklift as needed.
• Ensure FIFO of inventory for shipping
• Fill in where needed to ensure effective and efficient production.
• Operate production machinery in a safe and effective manner.
• Monitor, replace, and remove dunnage of consumables used by machinery.
• Inform Team Leader or management if issues with machinery arise.

Requirements:

• High School Education or GED required.
• College degree preferred.
• 2 years of manufacturing/machining or related experience preferred.
