Job Description

Primary Responsibilities:

Working alongside your fellow project management team members, you will successfully deliver assigned projects on time within scope and budget, by:

  • Managing all phases of the project lifecycle, including initiation, planning, executing, controlling, closing, and benefit realization.
  • Working with project sponsors to Identify needs and to allocate appropriate project team resources.
  • Collaborating with project team members to develop detailed project plans.
  • Coordinating with internal resources and vendors.
  • Measuring project performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques.
  • Ensuring project data and documentation are regularly updated to ensure accurate and timely communication of project status.
  • Escalating and engaging appropriate leadership/key project stakeholders to resolve significant issues that may impact project deadlines, as needed.

Qualifications

REQUIRED:

  • Bachelor’s degree in one of the following areas: Information Technology, Finance, Computer Science, Organizational Development, or a related field.
  • 4 years of progressive project management as well as business analysis experience.
  • Excellent communication/presentation skills, both oral and written; ability to tailor communication to various levels of the organization.

NICE TO HAVE:

  • Experience with Click up, Zilicus, Visio, and MS Project or similar PM software/applications.
  • PMI, PMP, APM, IIBA, or a similar certification.
  • Working knowledge of Project Management methodologies and best practices.
  • Demonstrated strong business acumen and strategic planning. Ability to think and act from an overall “best for the business” perspective.
  • Extensive knowledge of emerging industry practices as applied to solving business problems.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft desktop and networking technologies including Office, Windows, and Active Directory.
