Job Description
Dunn Solutions Group has an opening for a full-time SAP BI (BusinessObjects) Engineer to join our analytics team based in either Greater Chicago IL or Greater Minneapolis, MN with hybrid working.
The position will work with clients to install, configure, migrate SAP BI software and to architect, develop and deliver complete analytics solutions.
Beyond these requirements, we are looking for candidates that want to expand their skill set to cloud-based and hybrid analytics solutions in Azure using Data Factory, Azure Data Lakes, Synapse and Power BI.
Candidate must possess the following technical expertise with 3-4 years' experience:
- Installation and configuration of BusinessObjects 4.x including 4.3
- Migrating BusinessObjects deployments from older versions to newer versions
- Administering BusinessObjects services, security, and applications
- Setting of up SSL, authentication, and integration with email servers
- Configure and size services in single node and multi-node environments.
- Maintain, trouble shoot and develop Universes and Web Intelligence Reports
- Understanding of data warehouse concepts (data marts, dimensional modeling, ETL)
Desired business skills:
- Identify and investigate customer problems, issues, and circumstances and provide recommendations, alternatives, risks, and benefits to the project manager.
- Identify and respond to customer questions, issues, and service opportunities.
- Strong oral presentation and written communications skills.
Desired education background:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology
