DuPont Country Club is seeking to add a Dining Room Supervisor to our Dining Services Department! The primary purpose of this position is to assist the department in managing the dining room staff, to ensure that the highest level of service is provided to the membership with professionalism and integrity. As the Dining Room Supervisor, it is important to ensure a smooth and organized work environment so that our members enjoy their dining experience.

Duties:
Demonstrates problem solving skills and can resolve issues with residents, families, and staff in a professional manner and demonstrates appropriate supervisory/leadership skills.
Ensures high quality, good-tasting and well-presented food and beverages are served within established time frames.
Handle member complaints that servers are unable to handle and determine whether or not a manager's assistance is required.
Motivates staff by creating an atmosphere conducive to learning and achieving excellence.
Delegates responsibilities to accomplish all tasks in the most cost efficient and effective manner.
Assist with providing effective staffing schedules and assignments for the department.
Assists director with hiring, orientating, and training staff to perform appropriate duties.
Assure that worktables and all other equipment related to the dining rooms and bars are cleaned and sanitized.
Participate and offer solutions to issues that come up in the managers’ and food advisory meetings
Schedules stations and work assignments for the wait staff and check out servers to make sure standards are met and opening and closing side work is completed.
Check all servers out at the end of the shift making sure their side work and stations are complete
Attention to customer service with a professional and pleasant personality.
Available to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Assist hosting or serving tables if it is needed and assist in bussing and setting up when necessary
Perform all other duties assigned and as directed by management.

An experience in the Dining Service field
Exceptional organizational skills
