The Quality Specialist role connects the Quality organization to day-to-day operations at the manufacturing site. The role provides opportunities to work with multiple departments across the site as well as working with Technical and Sales organizations outside the site. The work performed by the Quality Specialist supports process monitoring and continual improvement.

Your Key Responsibilities:

• Ownership of the Towanda internal audit program.

  • System audit

  • Layered process audit

• Ownership of the Towanda supplier monitoring process.

  • Support the supplier monitoring processes by issuing and reviewing SCAR’s.

  • Conduct annual supplier evaluations.

• Ownership of the Towanda corrective action process.

  • Support SFDC RMA/ Case Handling

  • Customer complaints

  • Quality incident investigations

• Support Quality investigations (including RCFA, testing, taking photographs, sharing customer information, and gathering production records).

• Support Applications Lab investigations by collecting production data and providing samples for testing.

• Facilitate reviews of historical production data with Towanda Technical team members.

• Organize measurement system studies.

• Monitor the production process through product and process audits.

• Support continual improvement efforts with data analysis and testing.

• Write and update quality-related SOP’s.

• Assist with materials for offsite shipping (MSDS, Shipping Orders, Packaging, etc.).

Your Qualification Profile:

• Associates Degree or equivalent work experience.

• 5 years’ experience working in a manufacturing environment.

• Knowledge of problem-solving tools.

• Outgoing and personable, organized, dedicated, able to work with a variety of people and cultures.

• Trainable and willing to learn new things.

• Excellent communication skills – verbal and written.

• Demonstrated drive and initiative, flexibility and strong attention to detail.

• Experience with the following software is required: Salesforce, Cority, JMP, SAP, Microsoft Office.
