What are the responsibilities and job description for the Estimator position at Duram Solutions, LLC?
Duram Solutions, LLC (DSL) is looking to add an Estimator to their dedicated and talented team. As an estimator you would be required to prepare pricing by identifying labor, purchased components, material, and time requirements for various proposals and requests for parts and equipment. You will need to navigate the diverse culture of the IFMC during different stages of a project. From the time the customer contacts your team with a request for quote, this position will be responsible to ensure the details of the request get captured, equipment or components are suitable for the request, and respond until completion within a timely manner.
Key responsibilities
- Overall Estimating:
- Sales Support: Provides prompt turnaround times on quotes and other information requested from IBU’s within the IFMC and external customer outside the IFMC.
- Scheduling & Timelines: Work with engineering on a continuous basis to provide the best possible deliveries as they relate to the request. Work with manufacturing on IFMC component needs and labor requirements.
- Profitability: Ensure estimates are constructed to achieve a target margin established by management.
- Reputation: Estimating superior quality equipment that positions our team and the IFMC as industry leaders.
- Understanding Technologies: Understands the technical/mechanical theory, design, and application of the various technologies utilized in the design of equipment produced by DSL.
- Incident Management: Review and asses financial costs associated with incident management tools and the recorded incidents within that tool.
- Costing Analysis: Review and analyze costing data for target margins and impacts of any related incidents on specific jobs.

- Willing to travel on occasion.
