POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to oversee the Drilling, Bandsaw, Warehouse, and Shipping/Receiving departments at the Maxi-Lift Warehouse. This role ensures safety, efficiency, and compliance with regulations. The ideal candidate has a background in warehouse management, logistics, process improvement, and team leadership.

You will develop schedules, monitor performance metrics, and lead the Maxi-Lift Logistics Team to enhance customer satisfaction and deliver business results. Effective time management and leadership skills are essential. You will also ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental requirements.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for the daily Drilling, Bandsaw, Warehouse, and Shipping/Receiving operations of the Maxi-Lift Warehouse while maintaining safety, efficiency, and ensuring all applicable Federal, State, and Local regulations and standards are met.
  • Develop and manage schedules for the Drilling, Bolts, Bandsaw, and Shipping departments, continuously seeking improvements and efficiency.
  • Monitor and track departmental metrics to ensure performance standards are met and identify areas for improvement.
  • Continually assess operational capabilities, skills, and resources to ensure performance objectives are met and maintained.
  • Lead the Maxi-Lift Logistics Team by developing and implementing strategies to improve customer satisfaction and deliver business results while building strong organizational capability.
  • Enhance the effectiveness of the Manufacturing/Warehouse processes and implement necessary improvements while maintaining robust control design and execution. Ensure control awareness through quarterly inventory process walkthroughs and feedback sessions.
  • Prepare for backfill capability in the event of vacancies in key team positions (e.g., Drilling Supervisor).
  • Follow all applicable facility health, safety, and environmental requirements and procedures for reporting incidents and/or injuries, with the authority to immediately address safety risks.
  • Assist in the continuous improvement of Safety Programs and Procedures through active participation with 3rd Party Safety Consultants.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in warehouse management, logistics, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with using ERP systems to manage and track production activities, inventory levels, and other relevant data. BC and PlantStar preferred.
  • Capacity to make timely and well-informed decisions based on data, production goals, and overall business objectives.
  • Experience with process improvement methodologies and inventory management systems.

  • Bilingual in Spanish is required.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate diverse teams.
  • History of ability to manage multiple projects with various priorities simultaneously with success.

  • SAFETY INCIDENTS: Record and analyze the number of workplace safety incidents and near-misses.
  • EMPLOYEE PRODUCTIVITY: Assess the output per employee in terms of tasks completed and overall contribution to department goals.
