This Role:

Our team is currently seeking an Receiving Clerk based at our production facility in Huntsville, Alabama. This is a 1st Shift position, and shift hours are typically 5:00AM - 3:30PM Monday through Thursday with Friday and Saturday overtime scheduled as needed.

What You Will Do:

The Receiving Clerk is responsible insuring the processing of all incoming materials through the computer system, and taking appropriate actions concerning non-conforming materials according to company policies/procedures.

· Operate material handling equipment to unload all Hart & Cooley inbound freight from trailers and suppliers.

· Insure proper and safe storage of raw materials received.

· Assign coil lot number and tag material properly.

· Cycle count inventory for accuracy.

· Notify purchasing of SOI material needs.

· Maintain an acceptable level of inventory accuracy for received items.

· Unload and process all receivables and enter them into the inventory system in a timely manner.

· Responsible for the safe and orderly flow of material through the receiving dock.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Current U.S. work authorization without requiring future sponsorship (required)
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) (required)
  • Oracle experience a plus
  • Forklift experience a plue

Work Environment Physical Requirements:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts and risk of electrical shock. The employee is occasionally exposed to high, precarious places. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand, stoop, kneel, crouch, walk and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and climb or balance.

The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
