Property Maintenance

Job Summary:

We seek an energetic, motivated individual to perform property maintenance at our various Springfield and New London, New Hampshire locations. In this role, you will address common maintenance issues across multiple properties, performing repairs and installations. You must be able to address common property issues, such as electrical, plumbing, and heating. Perform a variety of seasonal duties such as snow removal/ plowing and mowing. Our ideal candidate has several years of professional experience in property management and maintenance, along with reliable transportation and a flexible schedule to respond to emergencies and seasonal needs as they arise.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Perform routine and scheduled maintenance across multiple properties
• Perform repairs, installations, and a variety of handy work
• Diagnose and repair problems with heat, electricity, and plumbing
• Be on-call to respond to emergency issues and seasonal needs such as snow removal.
• Perform a variety of property maintenance duties
• Other duties and tasks as assigned

• Strong work ethic, good judgment, and decision-making skills
• Must be willing to work holidays as needed, be “on-call” as needed
• Ability to work in extreme temperatures and at heights should conditions warrant

Education and Experience:

• Driver’s License (Required)
• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
• At least three (3) years of experience in a related field (such as but not limited to landscaping and property maintenance.)
• Knowledgeable in electrical & plumbing processes and troubleshooting
• Ability to identify the root cause of problems and effectively initiate immediate corrective action to prevent reoccurrence.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of standing and walking
• Able to bend, stretch, push, pull, and move to reach, clean, and service machinery.
• Must be able to inspect machines visually
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds

Work Environment:

• Indoors and outdoors in varying temperatures and all-weather conditions.
• Walking on slippery or uneven surfaces from time to time.
• Hearing protection is required in certain areas of the facility.
• Buildings and grounds are non-smoking except in designated smoking areas.
