Summary
The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting in the development and implementation of strategic outreach initiatives, cultivating relationships with residents and staff, and promoting community engagement. This role requires an understanding of public relations, event planning, and techniques to effectively market the DHA brand.
Responsibilities
- Monitor/analyze DHA's online presence.
- Assist in planning and coordinating events.
- Work with our Communications Manager to create and coordinate press releases.
- Assist the Communications Manager with outreach activities, networking events, presentations, and community partnerships, to increase visibility and brand awareness.
- Assist in the maintenance of the company’s website.
- Assist with the planning and execution of special events.
- Draft, prepare and distribute marketing documents including new strategies for social media, inbound campaigns, email marketing and events.
Experience
- At least two years’ proven experience in public relations, outreach, sales, or a related field, with a track record of achieving goals and metrics.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with the ability to connect with individuals of diverse backgrounds and personalities.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex information in a clear and compelling manner.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Creative thinker with a proactive approach to problem-solving and generating innovative marketing ideas.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software. Intermediate use of Canva is required.
