Lead Trader – Options Market Maker - $2M to $3M

A leading market maker is hiring a Lead Trader to optimize performance and improve market liquidity of their options market-making strategies.

Role Overview:

As the Lead Trader, you will play a critical role in identifying and executing profitable trading opportunities. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to enhance trading strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Research new trading opportunities and deploy multiple profitable market-making strategies.
• Analyze existing strategies to maximize profitability through trade analysis, low latency analysis, and execution analysis.
• Collaborate with FPGA & software engineer teams to improve technical infrastructure to improve fill rates on competitive trade and enhance market execution dominance.
• Mentor new hires, and junior traders, sharing expertise in options theory and market-making strategies.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in options market making and trading.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to identify profitable trading opportunities.
• Experience collaborating with technical teams to enhance trading infrastructure.
• Familiarity with options exchange protocols, network architecture, and matching engine behaviour.
• Excellent communication and mentoring skills.
