JRB Personnel has an opening for a HR Coordinator. This position is located Saginaw, MI. This is a position that offers a great working environment, excellent benefits and opportunities for advancement.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Administers FMLA and Short-term in accordance with federal and state regulations. Processes required documents through payroll to ensure accurate record-keeping and proper deductions.- Performs customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions.
- Completes Forms I-9, verifies I-9 documentation and maintains I-9 files.
- Conducts weekly audits of time and attendance.
- Files documents into appropriate employee files.
- Prepares new-employee files.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
The candidate must be able to work in the office M-F 8am-5pm- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Maintain a high degree of confidentiality.
- Working understanding of human resource principles, practices and procedures.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
- ADP knowledge is preferred.
- HR Cloud platform knowledge is preferred.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field and/or equivalent experience preferred.- At least two years related experience required.
- Extensive working knowledge of STD, FMLA and PFML State programs is preferred.
