Sales Product Manager

Duro-Last Roofing has an exciting opportunity for a Product Manager to join the organization to define and launch a new single-ply roofing membrane system. The Membrane Product Manager will be responsible for leading functional teams in developing all strategies associated to providing a complete roof system to a nationwide network of customers. This includes selling, marketing, testing, pricing and training strategies.

Key Job Responsibilities:

• Provide leadership in the development of a new membrane roof systems to compliment the current commercial roof system offerings.
• Define customer targets for the new system.
• Provide leadership in the development of advertising and promotional activities.
• Development of training tools and train sales organization.
• Provide forecasting and market analysis and recommend marketing strategies.
• Executes efforts to develop new products in this category.
• Maintains and develops promotional product marketing literature.
• Assurance system has code requirements and certifications.
• Post launch evaluations and strategies to evolve the full roof system package.

Qualifications Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field required.
• Three to five years of experience in product leadership, marketing and long-range planning required.
• Experience in the construction field or roofing industry.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as project management skills.
• Thorough understanding of market developments, marketing strategies and practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proven work experience in product management.
• Ability to communicate recommendations to executive management and cross functional teams.
• Proven experience managing all aspects of a successful product throughout a launch to the market.
• Experience in supporting the marketing and communication activities necessary to develop and launch new products.
• Ability to travel when necessary.
