Dusty delivers a combination of hardware, software, and services that fit seamlessly into existing construction work processes by printing digital models directly on the jobsite floor with 1/16" accuracy based directly on Revit or AutoCAD models. As the first dedicated IT hire into the company, you'll be responsible for ensuring smooth operations of our computer systems, networks, and software applications. This role requires a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality IT support to our team members in a timely manner.
This is an in-office position at Dusty's headquarters in Mountain View. We are an office-centric hardware company enjoying the efficiency and camaraderie of in-person collaborative teamwork.

Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to end-users, including diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues, and providing training and guidance as needed.
- Perform IT needs assessments, technology, and vendor selections, focusing on building best practices while controlling costs.
- Assist in developing and implementing cybersecurity measures to safeguard company data and systems.
- Manage IT inventory of software, hardware, and equipment to ensure readiness for new employee onboarding.
- Assess, manage, and administer employee identity and access throughout internal software systems.
- Manage and improve network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
- Manage and troubleshoot onsite systems such as physical security, cameras, and video conferencing.
- Aid in developing and implementing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and policies for backups, disaster recovery, security administration, change control, operations, and maintenance.
- Coordinate with our outsourced IT provider to manage and support other IT initiatives.
- Working experience as an IT Manager in a growing technology startup (50-200 employees)
- Excellent knowledge of the typical applications used in a startup of our size
- Experience in systems and database management (prefer Netsuite, Salesforce and CRMs)
- Experience with identity management, SSO, and related workflows
- Hands-on experience with modern office computer networks and devices such as Meraki or Ubiquiti
- A strategic approach centered around people and their ability to be productive and happy in their work
- BS in Information Systems, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
