What are the responsibilities and job description for the Office Manager and Community Relations Specialist position at Dutchess County Regional Chamber of Commerce?
The Dutchess County Regional Chamber of Commerce is looking for a bright, energetic and pleasant person to provide a high degree of customer service to our members, visitors and callers.
This person will coordinate front desk operations and help manage our membership database. This position acts as our main receptionist on a multi-line phone system and provides general administrative support for the Chamber therefore excellent organizational and communication skills are needed.
Daily work includes working on fulfillment of events with the Events Department, ordering supplies, customer service on phones, mailings, and data entry including processing customer payments. Applicants must demonstrate proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook and have a working knowledge of computers and be extremely detail oriented. An understanding of bookkeeping is helpful, but not required. Responsible and experienced professional person with pleasant attitude and personality required. Knowledge of the business and local community is required. Work hours are 8:30-4:30 M-F and as needed at various events before and after hours.
