DFC seeks an experienced Organization Change Manager to support a project supporting the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Veterans Benefits Administration (VBA). The project will support VBA's enterprise-level human capital ideation initiatives and customer experience portfolio and provide project management support, event management and execution, and business process engineering. This position focuses on providing communications and multimedia planning and support. The scope of work and work products are related to being the lead contract point of contact for all change management efforts. This position will also interact with DFC senior leadership and as project requirements dictate, with client personnel at appropriate levels, in the accomplishment of project objectives.
What the role requires:
- Develop organization change management plans and their related specific metrics.
- Facilitate senior level stakeholder engagements.
- Provide viable reference material for users by writing and maintaining user documentation.
- Maintain client confidence and protect operations by maintaining information confidentiality.
- Work toward professional improvement and certifications, maintain current certifications, develop, and maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; review professional publications; establish personal networks; benchmark state-of-the-art practices; participate in professional societies.
What you need to be successful:
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Experience in developing and reporting on organization change management specific metrics.
- Ability to work well in a team-based environment.
- Ability to work independently and develop client relationships.
- Ability to lead and facilitate client meetings, conference calls, and capture accurate meeting notes.
- Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment.
- Well-organized with the ability to handle several projects/clients simultaneously.
- Strong analytical skills, presentation development and writing skills.
- Exceptional skills in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong work ethic with a commitment to client service excellence.
- Strong client presence.
- Experience working with federal government projects is required.
Other important information:
- Possess and maintain an industry recognized Change Management certification.
- Expertise in leading the development of large organizational change management programs for VA and other Federal Government agencies.
- Ability to obtain a US government security clearance, if needed, is required.
