Summary: The main function is to analyze science, engineering, business and all other data processing problems for application to electronic data processing systems. Responsible for analyzing user requirements, procedures and problems to automate or improve existing systems and review computer system capabilities, workflow and scheduling limitations.
Job Responsibilities:
Gather requirements from business units and translate those to programmers and developers.
Prepare cost-benefit and return-on-investment analyses to aid in decisions on system implementation.
Confer with clients regarding the nature of the information processing or computation needs.
Coordinate and link the computer systems within an organization to increase compatibility and so information can be shared.
Key responsibilities:
Collaboration across teams
Consulting with business partners on requirements for the campaign
Set expectations with business partners
Explaining the technical aspect to business partners
Writing the code to apply the requirements that were given
Format data to create list
Follow protocols to handle data
Must have technical skills/experience (ask for alternative/tool/version):
SAS
SQL
Experience with Microsoft office
Communication skills to consult on business requirements (logical thinking)
Flex Skills:
Marketing exp
SAS certified - nice to have
Soft skills that would make a candidate successful in this role:
