POSITION SUMMARY:
Under supervision incumbent performs intermediate data preparation steps, schedule and coordinate production jobs for submission to the computer; maintain data files; prepare data and programs for submission to the computer.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Skills required include typing speed and accuracy, communication skills, time management, attention to detail, Proficient in Excel and Word, and ability to research and collect data.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Data validation and quality control: Review and validate data sets to ensure accuracy and completeness. Develop and implement data quality control processes to identify and resolve data discrepancies or errors. Collaborate with other team members to ensure data consistency and quality across different systems.- Manage and maintain databases: You will be responsible for organizing and maintaining databases, ensuring data accuracy, and implementing data security protocols. This includes data entry, data cleaning, and data validation.
- Proofing and entering data into SAP
- Proofing and entering production data into Attainment sheets
Manipulating SAP data to facilitate scheduling process for multiple departments
Data entry for E-Work Order PM programs
Collaborate with cross functional teams on process improvement projects
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Education and/or Experience: Ability to read and follow instructions. High school diploma or equivalent. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills. Excellent problem solving and analytical abilities. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Basic computer experience and proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
WORK ENVIRONMENT / CONDITIONS / PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to sit, and to stand and walk. The employee may be required to move ten pounds and could occasionally lift or move up to twenty-five pounds.
WORK ENVIRONMENT: Minimum of eight (8) hours per shift, five (5) days per week. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly (more than 2/3 of the time) exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is occasionally (less than 1/3 of the time) exposed to wet and/or humid conditions and extreme heat. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Fast paced environment.
