Job Posting for Building Maintenance Administrator - Office Building at DXP Enterprises
Responsibilities of the Building Maintenance Administrator include, but are not limited to:
Maintain, troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical equipment in a timely manner
Repair machinery, plumbing, HVAC and electrical wiring
Coordinate effectively with outside vendors and equipment manufacturers (plumbing, elevator, electrical, janitorial, waste management, landscaping and more)
Monitor work performed by contractors
Complete all maintenance & repair requests in a timely manner
Record keeping of all essential documentation related to the building, equipment, vendor contracts and other documents as needed
Maintain outside area which will include, picking up trash, sweeping curbs, cleaning areas around the dumpster, etc.
Responsible for 24-hour emergency maintenance calls
Observe and maintain all building systems
Maintain building inventory
Follow safety standards which comply with company, state, local, and federal guidelines
Qualifications of the Building Maintenance Administrator include, but are not limited to:
5 years of building repair and maintenance experience
2 years of HVAC technician experience
Ability to operate hand and power tools
Knowledge of troubleshooting and servicing equipment
Knowledge in a variety of trade areas common to the field of building maintenance
Must have a positive demeanor
Detail oriented and ability to work with minimal supervision
Acceptable driving record required according to company guidelines
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted and move on a consistent basis (walk, twist, climb, kneel, bend, reach)
Additional Information: Physical Demand: Moderate, lifting up to 50 lbs. unassisted Working Conditions: Indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions Training/Certifications: TDLR HVAC certification preferred. Shift Time/Overtime: Monday – Friday from 8 am – 5 pm; Overtime as needed. On call 24/7 Travel: Minimal Education: High School Diploma required; Some college preferred
