We’re looking for a SEC Reporting Manager to join our team and help us achieve our vision to connect America. As the SEC Reporting Manager, you will report directly to the Director of Finance & SEC Reporting and manage the Senior Finance & SEC Reporting Analyst. You will be primarily responsible for the preparation of periodic filings with the SEC, ad hoc reporting around industry and customer trends, and external audit coordination.

What you’ll do…
  • Maintain quarterly reporting timeline of periodic SEC and statutory filings
  • Manage preparation and review of SEC filings (10-Q, 10-K, 8-K, including XBRL) including management discussion and analysis, financial statements, footnotes and supporting schedules
  • Manage preparation and review of monthly and quarterly external reporting releases, including quarterly earnings release
  • Manage preparation and review of monthly and quarterly financial packages to senior management
  • Assists with the preparation of information for the Board Book
  • Perform financial statement analysis to test reasonableness of consolidated financial statements and disclosures
  • Manage the administration of and reporting on stock-based transactions in accordance with ASC 718 Stock Compensation
  • Manage relationships with, and assists, internal and external auditors in the review of quarterly and annual financial information and provides additional information as needed, including but not limited to correspondence/monitoring of subsidiary request lists and related support provided
  • Oversee lease accounting across the Dycom family of companies
  • Oversee fixed asset accounting across the Dycom family of companies
  • Ad hoc reporting on consolidated company results
  • Assistance on projects, including due diligence support as directed by management, process improvements and internal control initiatives
Qualifications:
Who we are looking for…
  • You have 4 years of public accounting/SEC reporting experience
  • You have a bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • You have strong knowledge of GAAP and SEC reporting requirements
  • You have advanced technical skills with Microsoft Excel
  • You may have knowledge of Workiva/WebFilings, Oracle HFM or Hyperion Essbase
  • You have a demonstrated ability to work efficiently, meet demanding deadlines in a fast-paced environment, and prioritize workflow
  • You have excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to communicate effectively with diverse individuals at all levels and areas within the organization
  • You are 18 years of age or older
  • You are authorized to work in the United States
