As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you'll play a crucial role in supporting the finance team with full-cycle accounts payable processing.

You will ensure the accurate and timely processing of invoices, banking transactions, and cash transfers, helping to maintain strong relationships with both internal stakeholders and external vendors.

Key Responsibilities :

• Assist with processing weekly accounts payable transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Review invoices for correct coding, approvals, and mathematical accuracy.
• Collaborate with department managers and vendors to resolve billing disputes and past due invoices.
• Support the maintenance of detailed logs of vendor payments and ensure timely processing.
• Assist with processing vendor payments via checks and ACH transfers.
• Provide support in monitoring daily bank balances and handling banking transactions as needed.
• Assist with preparing month-end, quarter-end, and year-end reports.

Key Qualifications :

• Strong understanding of basic bookkeeping principles.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, accounting software (SAGE 100 a plus), and 10-key by touch.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to solve practical problems.
• Ability to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
• Prior experience in accounts payable or related field preferred.
