This job is for a clinician with a QMHA or QMHA registrant, CADC 1 or CADC-R that will be eligible to take the test within 1 year.

This job is also conditioned on getting approval from state insurance and state criminal history check.

This job is under our Just Care Program for a Just Care Coach candidates would be trained in utilizing the Just Care model.

Role and Responsibilities

All applicants must feel comfortable with providing services to individuals with co-occurring substance abuse, mental health problems, and child neglect charges. They will provide services in the home and community settings. Daily expectations are to conduct treatment sessions out-of-the-office across Linn & Benton County. Many sessions involve family members (including children of different ages) and social supports (both prosocial and deviant). Successful applicants will feel comfortable working with a range of family types.

Job Tasks

Essential Job Tasks to be performed

• Follows standardized protocol for conducting treatment with parents and families
• Conducts individual, family, and couples therapy with parents using Parent Management Training and child neglect treatment, substance abuse treatment and relapse prevention planning using behavioral interventions including frequent monitored urinalysis and contingency management, mental health treatment using cognitive-behavioral and behavioral approaches and collaboration with medication providers
• Treatment is conducted in the home and community settings. Some clients are homeless and their “home” environment is variable.
• Treatment involves providing client transportation for case management appointments and other treatment needs
• Case management includes participating in child welfare meetings, court appearances, medical/mental health appointments, connecting clients with resources as needed, supervising parent-child visits
• Responsible for developing comprehensive mental health assessments and treatment plans,
• Responsible for timely documentation of progress notes, treatment plans, and monthly treatment updates to child welfare. Given the population, charts are frequently subpoenaed attention to documentation is essential.

Candidate must have an operating vehicle with insurance to provide services in the community.

We ask that candidates have at least one year of experience working with clients in mental health setting or recovery setting.
