Dynamic Sheetmetal Fabrication, LLC in St. Paul, MN has an Immediate opening: PRESS BRAKE Class A SETUP/OPERATOR. Looking for experience with Amada HG, HD, HRB presses – Using European Tooling. 7 to 10 years’ experience required. Blueprint Reading, tool knowledge, and experience are what we need. Creativity and a can-do approach regarding complicated parts is a great characteristic for this position. This is a full-time day shift position. Our plant is CLIMATE CONTROLLED, bright white, neat and clean and operating State of the Industry systems and equipment. Duties:

- Set up and operate press brake machines to bend, form, and shape sheet metal according to blueprints and specifications.
- Select appropriate tooling and adjust machine settings to achieve desired results.
- Monitor machine operation to ensure quality and accuracy of bends.
- Inspect finished parts for defects and make necessary adjustments.
- Collaborate with team members to assemble fabricated parts as needed.
- Use precision measuring instruments such as micrometers to verify dimensions.
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work orders.
- Perform routine maintenance on press brake machines.

Experience:

- 7 to 10 years experience operating press brake machines in a manufacturing or fabrication setting.
- Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication techniques and processes.
- Proficient in blueprint reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
- Ability to use precision measuring instruments to ensure accuracy of finished parts.

Skills:

- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high quality standards.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot machine issues.
- Good communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
