Dynamis is seeking a consultant to provide programmatic support to our clients in the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Student and Exchange Visitor Program (SEVP). Our work for ICE SEVP supports the ICE mission to promote homeland security and public safety by upholding the integrity of the U.S. immigration system by collecting, maintaining, and analyzing information so only legitimate nonimmigrant students or exchange visitors enter the United States. SEVP certifies schools accepting nonimmigrant students follow federal rules and regulations and ensures international students in the U.S. and partner governments comply with and understand these rules.
Responsibilities:
- Support program Leadership with Strategic Communications (internal, and international); reviews agency directorate strategic communications; develops/recommends communications tools to program Leadership.
- Provide high quality written communications with impeccable attention to detail in formatting, grammar, spelling, and punctuation for broadcast messages, congressional inquiry responses, and website content.
- Synthesize and summarize complex information from multiple sources, including coordination with internal and external communications teams to upload messages to the SEVP public portal websites.
- Prepare for and execute meetings and conferences, including developing agendas, overall logistics, note taking, tracking actions, producing reports, and/or supporting next steps.
- Track stakeholder interactions and make recommendations for stakeholder engagement, outreach planning, and overall communications.
- Support SEVP initiatives, effectively collaborating with all parties to successfully fulfill client needs.
- Design programmatic and/or technical assistance support activities in collaboration with program leadership, program staff, and subject matter experts.
- Prepare high-level briefings and talking points for federal staff.
- Develop and maintain status dashboards (e.g., Tableau) and trackers for project milestones and event data.
Requirements:
- U.S. Citizenship
- Ability to obtain ICE Suitability
- Bachelor’s degree in related field
- 3-5 years' work experience.
- Experience supporting project management, meeting preparation and facilitation, and/or stakeholder outreach.
- Strong ability to multi-task, prioritize and work independently; the ability to drive and own tasks are preferred.
- Experience supporting evaluation and analysis of policies, process to develop communications products and presentations to translate those policies to various audiences.
- Impeccable attention to detail including spelling, grammar, formatting, and punctuation in Microsoft Word.
- Experience in using Word suite and Adobe.
Preferred:
- Experience with creating high quality deliverables using Microsoft Office tools (e.g., PowerPoint, Excel, and Word).
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Prior experience using SharePoint.
