What You’ll Do

As the Corporate Account Manager, you will lead retail business units through value capture, quantification and communication strategy. You will be responsible for growing profitable business through shot service, product sales & advanced technical services within the North American Quarry Markets. Other duties include:

  • Co-develop regional growth, margin improvement strategies.
  • Maximize profitability through creative use of new products and services
  • Support quarry sales efforts by developing strategy with Sr Corporate Account Manager
  • Field support with local Dyno Nobel teams as well as customer Blast Performance Teams
  • Utilize blasting knowledge to consult customers on potential targets
  • Work with product managers for profitable customer solutions
  • Coordinate, motivate and lead respective area personnel to service the customer effectively and profitably.
  • Analyze past shots/performance for continuous improvement.
  • Frequent reporting of current state and future targets
  • Communicate and lead customer requests/initiative discussions with channel communities
  • Mentor Account Coordination Managers
  • Participate in internal sales development workshops, utilize Dyno Nobel common language
  • Ability to influence internal, external and cross functional senior level stakeholders
  • Must be self-motivated, a good planner and flexible to changing schedule.
  • Safe Work Practice by focusing on zero harm and leading others by example

 

What We’re Looking For:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or Engineering.
  • 3 years of experience in explosives industry preferred
  • 3 years experience in a sales position, working with distribution, job estimating, product sales and service sales.
  • Experience working in a complex commercial business environment
  • Experience with negotiating contracts
  • Financial planning and analysis skills
  • Strong communicate skills and ability to build relationships with internal and external customers at all levels within the organization
  • Overall knowledge of construction / quarry blasting including drilling, regulatory, safety project management, pricing and contracts.
  • Ability to travel as required, primarily domestically but also internationally, as required (~est. 50% - 75%)
  • Positive attitude, friendly demeanor, and a team player
