CNC Machine Operator

Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled CNC Machine Operator with experience in operating CNC machines and proficient in reading blueprints and technical drawings. The CNC Machine Operator will be responsible for operating and maintaining CNC equipment to produce high-quality precision parts according to specifications.

Duties:

• Operate CNC mills, lathes, and grinders according to specifications.
• Load raw materials into the machine and ensure proper alignment.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work instructions to determine machine settings and programming requirements.
• Monitor machine operations to ensure products meet quality standards and specifications.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks on CNC equipment, such as cleaning, lubricating, and replacing worn parts.
• Troubleshoot machine issues and make adjustments as necessary to maintain optimal performance.
• Inspect finished parts for accuracy and quality, and make adjustments as needed.
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
• Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes and improve efficiency.

Experience:

• Previous experience operating CNC machines in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in reading technical drawings and blueprints.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.
• Knowledge of CNC programming languages (e.g., G-code) is a plus.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 pounds).
• Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
