SMT ASSEMBLER

Position Summary: Performs a wider variety of soldering and testing tasks on Printed Circuit Board Assemblies. (PCBA) onsite at our facility in Woodinville, Washington.

Work Hours: Fulltime, 7am-3:30pm, Monday through Friday

Job Responsibilities:

• Follow proper Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) procedures at all times
• Perform soldering of PTH and fine SMT components
• Use a variety of hand tools to perform electronic component assembly and testing
• Perform assigned tasks in accordance with manufacturing process instructions, engineering documentation and/or verbal instructions
• Ability to rework PTH and SMT assemblies
• Ability to meet IPC-610 class II workmanship standards
• Good manual dexterity with the ability to sit for extended periods of time
• Ability to go from one task to another very quickly
• A keen eye for quality and attention to detail when inspecting parts

Experience & Education:

• Must read and speak English
• Minimum of 1 year soldering experience
• Component identification skills for both PTH and SMT components
• Ability to differentiate polarized and non-polarized components
• Familiarity with calibrated tools and equipment
• High School diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
• Knowledge of ESD handling procedures
• Familiarity with IPC-A-610E and IPC-J-STD-001
• Basic computer skills
