Job Title: Mechanical Engineer

Reports to: Hardware Engineering Manager

Hours of Work: Fulltime, Monday through Friday

Wage: DOE, Salaried/Exempt

Actual pay may vary depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.

Location: On-site alternating between Woodinville and Everett, WA

Position Summary: The Mechanical Engineer designs, develops, prototypes, and tests all aspects of mechanical components. Develops specifications for new parts or prototypes, conducts verification testing and produces engineering documentation.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Design new parts for aircraft improvements
  • Determine and implement improvements to existing parts and assemblies
  • Create new part drawings and assembly procedures using Solidworks
  • Revise existing drawings and assembly procedures in Solidworks to reflect improvements
  • Work with assembly mechanics to determine optimal assembly process and tools that would expedite assembly process
  • Develop tooling to help with assembly
  • Work with customers to troubleshoot any problems or damage to aircrafts

Experience & Education:

  • A bachelor’s degree in mechanical or aeronautical engineering
  • 1 – 2 years’ experience in a related field preferred
  • 1 – 2 years’ experience with Solidworks preferred
  • Must be 18 and legally authorized to work in the United States
