Job Title: Mechanical Engineer
Reports to: Hardware Engineering Manager
Hours of Work: Fulltime, Monday through Friday
Wage: DOE, Salaried/Exempt

Location: On-site alternating between Woodinville and Everett, WA
Position Summary: The Mechanical Engineer designs, develops, prototypes, and tests all aspects of mechanical components. Develops specifications for new parts or prototypes, conducts verification testing and produces engineering documentation.
Position Responsibilities:

Position Responsibilities:
- Design new parts for aircraft improvements
- Determine and implement improvements to existing parts and assemblies
- Create new part drawings and assembly procedures using Solidworks
- Revise existing drawings and assembly procedures in Solidworks to reflect improvements
- Work with assembly mechanics to determine optimal assembly process and tools that would expedite assembly process
- Develop tooling to help with assembly
- Work with customers to troubleshoot any problems or damage to aircrafts
- A bachelor’s degree in mechanical or aeronautical engineering
- 1 – 2 years’ experience in a related field preferred
- 1 – 2 years’ experience with Solidworks preferred
- Must be 18 and legally authorized to work in the United States
